Highlighted text in brackets must be replaced with your real details before publishing. This is a draft, not legal advice.

This policy explains what happens to your data when you use the Latch.AI website and join the waitlist or the beta program. It does not cover the Latch.AI app itself, which runs the AI on your device and has its own privacy policy, published at launch.

Who is responsible

Timothée de Brouwer, publisher of Latch.AI, is responsible for the data collected on this site. Contact: latch.ai.contact@gmail.com.

Who receives it

How long we keep it

Until you unsubscribe, or until [for example 12 months after the app launches], whichever comes first. Then your data is deleted.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, to take it with you, or to withdraw your consent at any time. Every email we send contains an unsubscribe link. You can also write to latch.ai.contact@gmail.com. If you think your rights are not respected, you can complain to the Belgian Data Protection Authority (autoriteprotectiondonnees.be, contact@apd-gba.be) or to the authority of your own country.

Cookies and fonts

This site sets no cookies of its own and has no analytics or advertising trackers. The sign-up form is provided by Brevo and uses Cloudflare Turnstile to block robots, so Cloudflare and Brevo receive technical information such as your IP address when the form is shown. It loads its fonts from Google Fonts, so Google receives your IP address when the page loads.

Children

Latch.AI is not aimed at children. In Belgium, a person must be at least 13 years old to consent on their own to this kind of data processing. If you are younger, ask a parent or guardian to sign up for you.

Applicable law

This policy follows the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Belgian law, in particular the Act of 30 July 2018 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version is published on this page with its date.
